*Vendor's Booths- Back in the day, the way you knew a festival was happening was when the merchant's wheels began rolling into town and their tents went up preparing the square to listen for the sounds of the entertainment. The vendors were bringing wares unavailable from any other sources, and news from far lands. Current times, word gets out about a community festival but you never know how fun the event will be until you start to see those canopies and signs go up and the smells and sounds emerge.
